Hello,I'm looking at putting a hatch in the middle of the kayak between my legs. The long type. I like the look of the one off the trident angler model.Any ideas where I could get hatches from please?

What kayak are you intending to fit a hatch to because the Trident is obviously molded into the hull. Without a very large flat surface you will have loads of problems sealing the area.
Is it the fact that you want to store the rods in there or just the fact that you want a storage hatch for gear.
I did look on one kayak to install an 8'' round hatch with a 24'' plastic window box planter inside so that I could slide the box to store more bits but the sheer hassle was simply too much.
Happy to help if you can give more detail.

Hope this picture helps.I was trying to see what hatches where available for this kayak. Its an ocean trident 11. I don't like the cup holder on this as it just fills with water. Looking at what options there are, either a hatch where it's has some storage and a tray type to keep things or to put rods in the hatch. Thanks for your time Si Attachments:
