greetings, Anglesey has a number of tackle shops and fresh bait is available in all of them, the problem is none of these shops do any serious advertising and it took me quite a while to get to know where they all are. I fished north wales for twenty years, and I always carry a couple of traveling rods in the car for when I am away from Anglesey and it is difficult to find tackle shops in a new area. There are tackle shops in: Holyhead, Valley, Amlwch, Benllech, Menai Bridge, other shops have opened and closed down, but my favourite tackle shop on Anglesey is ABC (Anglesey Bait Centre) in Beaumaris. All tackle is good quality and at a price that is very hard to beat, the service is excellent and if you ask for advice or information, Malcolm will give as much time to a customer who spends £5 as to one who spends £50. Regards Latif

I have to say that on every occasion I have visited Anglesey to do a bit of fishing or on holiday there, Malcolm at ABC has always been able to supply quality bait along with the latest info on where to go.

Benllech has two or more camping sites. I one I like is just north of the town. It offers great fishing from the rocky cliffs. There is deep water there with mackerel.
There is also lots of rocky cliffs in view which are unused by anglers, as there is no way to access them.
I have always thought that there would be fine fishing to be had by a kayak angler.
