Cracking few days at Portdafach beach

Hi,
Had a look at the weather last Saturday and realised that the week ahead looked good, and it was.
Just got back from 5 days camping, bloody cold at night, at Valley of the Rocks just down the road from Portdafach beach, Anglesey. I got there on Sunday afternoon, 27th September, pitched up and got my fishing gear ready. The next morning the sun was shining and the wind was low. I drove the short distance to the beach and set up the SIB.
I was our on the water in no time and first drop of the shrimp line I got a hit, 2 mackerel. I was out on the water with my sister and I handed the rod over to her and for the next three hours we pulled in around 25 fish as we drift fished across the outer bay of Portdafach beach. As we were camping and had no way to store them We kept a few of the bigger one and put the rest back.
When we returned to the campsite we got chatting to a few of the locals who told me that the fishing had been awful and most were lucky to get one or two.
So I guess we were either very lucky, the weather helped or the beginners luck of taking my little sister with me worked
