The new big game has had a busy week undergoing many rigging modifications
As seen below first photo shows an overview of all the mods that have been made
Anchor trolley / centre hatch / transducer /front hatch/ and dash board /
The first was the centre hatch it opens back towards you and is held in place by a small piece of cord by setting 2 pop reverts in to the centre hatch attachment straps and removing the small piece of cord from the back the hatch can now hinge to the left hand side this is much better than the hatch opening back in your face and being in the way .
Then on to the front hatch a strap was fitted to make removing the hatch completely easier once again a pop revert and a small nut and bolt was used
The fish-finder transducer was next the right scupper hole is shaped for a fish finder transducer so a cross shape washer was made from a piece of plastic and a threaded bar fitter to the transducer then through the washer and a nut attached to stop it falling out the cable from the transducer was also threaded through the scupper hole and then through a rubber stop which fits nicely through the centre moulding when it is to be attached to the fish finder I will just pull the garmin connector through the front hatch and then fasten the front hatch down on top of it to trap the cable .
On to the front dash I decided not to attach fish-finder and compass directly to the dash board area to make the boat easier to transport no bits sticking out the answer was to cut up an old plastic bread board to the shape of the front dash and attach it via a couple of catches this way everything can be attached to the removable board and can be attached in one go at the waterside saving loads of time setting everything up .
Anchor trolley was next on the prowler big game there are 2 deck loops very conveniently set to attach anchor trolleys to so no drilling needed at all I used a piece of marine grade rope and a couple of chromed pulleys I am just waiting for a cam cleat to arrive before I fit it and the whole trolley is finished .
