Had just mentioned this on a thread so thought i'd give my veiws. As you can see, it's a very narrow paddle. I've been using a Lendal Kinetic so far which is itself narrow in comparasin with others and i have yet to try out anything wider. Don't think i will be either. It's very noticable how quicker the paddle gets through the water. I feel like it's a matter of horse power, not quick off the mark but ok when up to speed. I seemed to have adopted a less vertical style of paddling even prior to this buy and so this has suited me. There is certainly no drop in speed with this style and again with the paddle. Just more strokes. It's very light being made fully in carbon fibre and like everything else, you don't know what your missing until you get one. For some reason i had just grudged spending the money so £35 pound was a good laugh, almost ran out the shop ;D. I've tried to find out about it and can't find any for sale in the UK never mind anybody else having one. They're quite common in the US and sell for $370.

It's a one piece. The handle doesn't have the ridge at fingers on the right hand side like the Lendal and the shaft diameter is thinner. I was a bit sceptical of it at first but it has felt better each time i've used it. The thinner diameter shaft has made me use my opposite hand from what blade is in the water more as the grip might not be just as good than on the other paddle. I may be changing my stroke a bit to suit the paddle but it certainly feels comfortable and less effort needed for the same results so can't say anything negative really.
