well i left home today at 12 noon heading for the arches at colwyn bay to meet up with shark at 1pm ;Di got there a bit early so had a and watched the waves and surf come in shark arrived we had a chat waited until about 1.20pm to see if anyone else turned up. after a quick chat and a chap trying to sell us a few reels we decided that we would head for conway ;D ;D this is the spot where we launched from quite a steep bank! ;D ;D we got on the water and it was flowing quite quick we just floated down no problem ;D ;D tried dropping the anchor but it was still to quick so we paddled agaist the current which was hard work! we found a spot and managed to get the anchors to hold!we was quickly into the crabs ???one after another! it was a first for me on the conway estuary ;Dwow has it changed since i was a kid and used to fish the old deganway docks on the beams ;D ;D here is shark at anchor you can see the rain coming in this picture this is the front off my yak whilst at anchor looking up the conway valley a couple of extra pics for the album this one in the distance is the conway bridge

Getting out and enjoying the day is the main thing this time of year. Fish are a bonus.
