Well followed in the paddle wake of Ramrod and tried Nth Landing,, got there for about 2.30 and it was lovely, sun shining, wind of the shore, just started the flood was soon into some undersize codling and billet. Was using bait as per Ramrod and quint but decided to paddle back in have a drink and change set ups to jigs. Wasn t long before my new Greys rod (really nice 6-12 lb class with soft tip) pulled over and a codling of about 2lb came onboard, then one a little smaller and the next drift one 3-4 lb....well maybe a little bigger but not being greedy..lol Robq arrived just after teatime and we headed up to infront of Thornwick. Only problem now was that the tide was stonking through so it was hard going. I never had another fish but rob managed a nice couple plus quite a few mops and a couple of herring. The tide got the better of me and I went in knackered, altogether been out for about 4 1/2 hours though, won t be able to move tomorrow !!! The prowler 13 is getting better every time I go out, really looking forward to getting out with the two top kayak rods very soon, would be great if they could show me round Cornelian........hope for the weather to not get too bad for Sunday.
Cheers to all.

If you paste the link into a search bar u can still see it. Looks a stunning place. Did you have a blue filter on your camera because the sea looks stunning. Good fish too

John, the place really is stunning , the bay at nth landing Flamborough just north of Bridlington is fringed with very dramatic sheer chalk cliffs , the sea was gin clear that afternoon too. The strong tides there seem to pull the colour out of the water as quickly as it puts it in !
Once out of the bay the views open up of the remainder of Flamborough to the south and to the north the 300 ft cliffs at Bempton, great drifting for the cod with puffins sat at the end of the yak watching what you are doing.
As for the pic being taken with a blue filter?...No quite by accident the pic ended up with the blue cast , it was taken with my phone and I hadn t changed the setting from incandescent lighting compensation so it gave a very cool blue hue quite by accident.
Out again tomorrow further up the coast, we have some fantastic launch sites and stunning fishing here.
Cheers Dave.
