Mitchell prima poseidon paddle
This is my first impression review of this powerful paddle
The first thing you notice is the outstanding quality and finish to this paddle it has a full carbon shaft with varihand adjustable system and a fibreglass reinforced blade.
The balance is superb as it is with all the Mitchell paddles this is a very powerful paddle with a full 18.5 cm with blade and at 50cm long as well it delivers a lot of power with minimum effort
This paddle is specifically designed for touring and covering long distances quickly
The clever blade shape moves maximum water on each stroke this is a very strong paddle which has re-enforced blade tips.
The shape of the blade makes it easy to sustain paddling while moving maximum water when covering sort or long distances
The blade and shaft joint is very neat so wont catch your hands while paddling this is also important in the ergonomics of the paddle .all the Mitchell blades have drip rings fitted to help stem water running back down the shaft to the hands this helps to stop water from running down the shaft and wetting the hands while paddling the shape of the shaft is slightly off round this makes it very easy on the hands after a long days paddling
The varihand adjustable system is very easy to use with this well marked system you can set the paddle exactly how you want it very quickly and precisely
This is a fantastic powerful paddle that ticks every box for us kayak anglers it is both top quality and affordable and will give many seasons good service.
the recomended retail of this paddle is £169.99
