Hi, Just moved up from the southampton. I did a little Kayaking for bass in the river. I have a hobie outback, which seems to work for me. I haven't a clue where to go in north wales / Wirral. I'm in North Shrops. Any advise on safe spots would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the site mate.
There are quite a few guys from the border area I believe plus Cheshire and Lancs/Merseyside area.
Put up a post asking who is going out you may find someone looking for company.

Hello from North Norfolk. I joined on advice from a friend. Only had kayak (mysto) for a few months. Loving being out at see on a nice day. We have lots of crabs but not so many fish round here.

Just a quick post to say hi. I registered last year but I have only just bought my first kayak (Feel free Corona). Im hooked . Im now looking for a single seat kayak, poss Trident 13. I would just like to say thanks as I found your site very useful for beginners and very helpful with the basic equipment required. Im just looking around now for a list of kayak friendly camp sites around North Wales and Anglesey coast. Regards, Bart.

Hi Bart I am pleased you like our site and feel free to ask any questions you may have. When I take my caravan to Anglesey, I stay at Holme farm campsite at Molfre. Very nice site well looked after and well positioned. I have in the past stayed at St Davids site but found the standards had gone down the pan.
It would be useful to modify your profile and state where you live so that other members in that area can contact you for meets etc. Phil

Hi Bart
Welcome to the site.
I think a lot of us return to the same place each year but a list of camping sites is a good idea and useful information. I will put a post on the galley and see what we get.

James this site is truely impartial and whilst there are knowledgable here they will not push themselves as experts and definitely will not belittle newcomers.
As you will see I am from Leicester, Keithyg is from Warwick, Philpot and Esoxuk are from Lincolnshire and there are loads from the North West so you are not alone in being non-Welsh.
