We went up to Llyn Geirionydd, above Trefriew, on Saturday. Just for a paddle really. But Gareth took along a spinning rod and a couple of spinners. Blow me, if he didn't go and catch these two wild brownies within his first three casts. Then it clouded over slightly, making it too dark for the brown Toby he was using. So we just paddled around the lake. It's a great place for paddle and a picnic. We found out later that fishing isn't allowed on the lake. Having said that there were no signs to say as much. Of dear . Never mind, it's still two for the freezer. John

It does look good for a paddle, but last time I drove up that single tracker I had such a hard time I swore I would never go back!

If it was a loch you were on there would be a Scottish Fatwahah out on you for them 2. What i would do with the bland tasting trout would be to use the as Rubby Dubby for the shark soup ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D. Seriously, 2 cracking fish. Well done that lad.
