Confession time. So you break something that's not your's. Do you admit to it and offer to replace it? Well, maybe if it can be replaced easily enough and if you have the funds to do so. However, when you are young with no cash the most likely and dishonest option is not to admit to it and attempt to cover/repair your breakage in any way possible. Got any crackers so to speak to share? ;D

Ok here's one to start off. Guitar enthusiasts might like this one. When I was about 11 my dad ran a music shop and he specialised in guitar repairs and setting up etc. I always wanted to give him a hand doing this. ;D Anyways, after a job on a lovely USA Strat, dad asked me to finish off putting the screws back in the tremolo back plate with the screwdriver provided. As I looked around I spotted dad's electric screwdriver and thought to myself this would be far easier and quicker. The end result? CRACK!!!!! Major nightmare! And the guy was coming to pick it up later on!!! I decided to not own up hoping dad wouldn't notice. Not sure to this day what the outcome of it was. Most likely dad replaced it with another or did he? ;D ;D ;D Chris Sure you have a better story to tell than that guys.

Could have been a lot worse Chris, it could have been a bottle of your dad's single malt.
