i caught crabs when i was a lad ! haha can t believe no ones used that one yet! On a serious note double figure pike for the first time has got to be one of the most heart pumping fishing experiance i ve ever had not to mention unhooking it !!! or when a 12ft bottle nose dolphin jump out in front of my kayak off abersoch ! can t wait for the summer again!

We all kept getting snapped up on 50lb line. We must have lost £200 worth of perks. The skipper then decided to use his carbon shark rod loaded with 90lb wire line, We knew it wasn't sharks but
This is a snippet from what was going to be the next story, But i'll not bother now.

Can I finish that off for you Steve ;D We knew it wasn’t a shark all of a sudden this great big plug came up and all the sea started to disappear so I put my rod down and dived in just in time to put the plug back in and save the seas for us all ;D
what a great thread guys well done for starting it steve i think mine has to be a 10.2oz barbel although 49lbs conger and ling came close i think i still have some pictures somewhere they were both from Plymouth on a boat called sat rat the barbel was from bildwash on the Severn
