Kerny, me and my mates used to go trekking up indians head on a sunday morning to clear our hangovers after a wild night out in oldham,the Grapes Hotel on Yorkshire st was our starting point..Theres a tunnel up there under the rock ,we used to walk through its about a third of amile long if I remember right.Aaaah them were the days? ??

Hi bassnasty and Dave, I sail it on some occasions with a mate of mine but I mainly paddle it on my yak to keep up my paddle fitness. No I don't fish it although I did as a kid, I know there is trout in there and I have also been told that there is carp in there too, but Im not sure how true that is. I do see people fish for brownies on the fly, but you do need a license, not sure from who though. The Grapes Hotel I know it well, I used to booze in there in the late 70s and the Radcliffe which is now knocked down. Good old days. ;D ;D ;D
