anybody used buck tail lead heads i keep getting really good reports of good fish being caught using them bass and pollock seam to be the main thing thats taking them .

16 grams each they really have a great action in the water and from the reports i been getting they seam to be working with the fish

i have some sea flies that look similar! they look the spit of sand eels whan retrieved I haven t used these yet as still doin good on the old rapalas!

Hello Zebra, were did you get them ?, 16 grams sounds good. Thought they would of been bigger than that.

i make them and sell them on ebay 4/0 sea hooks and 16 gram lead heads they seam to work really well i only started making them as an experiment to see if they would catch fish and the first pile i made i gave away just to see what feedback i could get from them on the colors ect so i could get the patterns right . but i been getting some really good reports of good fish being caught on them the guys who i gave the first lot to were asking me for more so i started selling them on ebay in sets of the 3 they been doing really well and seam to be working.
( before i get criticized for advertising something i am not trying to sell them on here i am just answering the question )
i been a fly maker for many years and recently started making the jig heads so i just put both together to see if they worked the buck tail lead heads seam to be all the rage in the states so it was just an experiment to start with to see if they would work here in the uk .
