[glow=red,2,300]Cemlyn Bay Sunday 27 August[/glow]
See kayak venues section for details of this venue.
Although there are general directions to this venue there is some chance of some folks going astray so we are meeting at the petrol station in tregele on the A5025 at 10am
The bay is sheltered and offers scope for a wide variety of fishing . This bay is new to a lot of us so fishfinders scanning the bottom for those that have one would be interesting to see if we can pick out any unusual features that might produce - and then log the co-ordinates for future ref. For those that wish to there are headlands/ rocky outcrops around out of the bay along with Wylfa Head about a mile or so away for those who fancy a more adventurous paddle.There are deep water areas (100' +) a mile or so out to the NW for anyone into that. The tide drops off around 1 hour before HW for a short period - Hatter3 (Kev) will let us all know more about this on the day. There will be hot drinks and basic facilities to knock up some bacon butties or the like on the day. There is also the expectation to carry out some safety drills/ capsize re-entry/ towing etc and a bit of fun as usual at the end of the day. This is a venue for newbies and experienced kayak anglers. if you are interested in coming a long please reply
