looks great but you need to block the base mount so that if you decide to use the kayak with out the fish finder and gps you dont have a hole that water will go all the way thriough to the hull a simple cap would be great or you could simply cut a circle of plastic and glue it on from the inside just to stop any water ingres . but i like it looks really good keep up the mods

Hi i have already dun it theres a disc of plastic on the bottom of the base . i uesd sticks all from toolstaiton and then put a good blob of pu40 in the base and around the outside . pu40 is tool stations own msatic sealer . its as good as Sikaflex i have been useing it 4 about 3 years now i .. buts its only£3.50 a tube . i have bonded decks to hulls with it and used it for below the water line work . but you can only get it in white .

I should say really im a boat builder i trained at sunseeker and have been working for my self for ten years now been bulding boats for 20 years now and a few hot rods and and god knows what else so i do know my way around fitting out . I make my own moulds and plugs .but its a stupid man who thinks he knows every thing lol . so if anyone need grp advice please feel free to ask .

Im always more than happy to help out . next time im doing gel repairs or basic glass work i will take some pics and stick them up . i have been getting stick from my mates about having .. as thay put it a plastic bustbin lol. keep tell them it wont sink

get a back box made for inside the rear tank well i was going to make a plug today but the rain started and spoiled it so its a job for the weekend now

Thanks for the tip about the pu40. I often wonder about the quality of stuff from there as its sometimes considerably cheaper so its good to hear from someone whos used it for a while.
