Frozen Planet EXCELLENT, but no need to record. On Virgin you have 'On Demand' using this you can re-watch almost all the previous weeks viewing. Plus thousands of hours of extra stuff like the first two series of Auf Wiedersehen Pet, Harry's Game and loads and loads of other stuff. And guess what??? On 30mb I am actually getting 30-35mb Let's see Sky match that.
Sorry I digress...Frozen Planet, Merlin, QI

Must agree Frozen Planet has been great. The photography has been tremedous.
We have a box to record but i really cant get into the habit of using it. I tried joining that love film once, pretty good system but we would get to the time to return the films without watching them so gave up on that.

Not a big TV addict but since we bought a recordable hard drive we just record an entire series to watch when the cold nights draw in-------Oh I think thats now ;D
Period drama and good films is the order of the day with NCIS chucked in for good measure. Phil
