The plug belt rack
Here is my review of the plug belt rack made by bass go deeper
Bass go deeper is a small Cornish company set up to develop and manufacture innovative fishing products.
The first thing you will notice is the build quality its superb only the best materials are used in the manufacture of the plug rack the one we have has 6 tubes on it but other models with various tube numbers are being manufactured and special orders are no problem to this new company.
The key points for me are.
It floats.
It is a very versatile product.
All the adhesives are marine grade.
It’s watertight.
Mounting the plug rack is easy a full mounting kit is supplied with each plug rack which consists of a special marine version of Velcro and 2 well nuts the idea is to stick the Velcro to the kayak and for extra security use a well nut at each end of the mounting Velcro this holds the receiving full length Velcro strip very securely to the kayak
This is a very versatile product that can be mounted just about anywhere on the kayak In just a couple of minutes.
Each of the individual containers are waterproof thanks to the secure soft end caps
Meaning what ever you put in them is safe and dry
The tubes are held very securely by a webbing retainer each tube has a lower rubber ring and a top rubber retaining ring the lower ring is to aid positioning of the tubes the top ring is there to retain the top cap so you won’t loose them accidentally
The elasticised retainer is secured using a stainless steel wire clip
I particularly like the rear of the seat as a mounting area for the plug belt
Thanks to the full length Velcro on the rear of the plug rack the whole thing is quick and easy to remove while out on the water.
The versatility of the plug rack is the key to this great new product what about putting your flares and first aid kit in a couple of the tubes this would make them easily accessible dry and safe with one pull the whole rack detaches from the Velcro mount making it easy to access the things in the tubes as you need them.
This is a superb new product and sure to become a stable part of the kayak anglers kit
The plug rack retails at £39.99 for the full 6 tube version
