The Crewsaver Ultra boot. These are probably the best kayak boots available today. They are made by crewsaver which we all know is a name renowned for great quality the boot uppers are made from 5mm neoprene with a tough rubber type coating on the heel and toe areas for extra protection. The sole is made from a thick rubber material which is designed to be both hardwearing and offer a high level of protection and grip to the wearer. You will notice the side zips these are to make putting the boots on and taking them off your feet easy. this is specially helpful if wearing dry suit rubber socks inside the zips there is a neoprene flap which is stitched both sides so you can not get your dry suit socks caught in the zip . Another point I would like to mention is the double stitched taped top of these boots this means that they will not fray at the top. i have found these boots to be very compfortable to wear and also warm i would not be without thm now i have used them . They cost £29.95 from cheltenam canoes www.cheltenham-canoes.co.uk/I will add to this review once i have used the boots a few more times [glow=red,2,300]This review is also on the main website north wales kayak fishing.[/glow] northwaleskayakfishing.co.uk/id87.html

I have just brought a pair but without the zips, they are really good I take a size 8, but brought a size 9 they fitted really well with a thick thermal socks, and the built in socks in the drysuit, I would give them a 10 out of 10
