Bored again........just finished these... about 10 minutes ago (in the garden) Purchased the jig/leadheads and decided to powder coat them........... Easily done with blow lamp, heat up and dip into powder.....heat again to melt the coating. Careful with the heat...! Don't melt the lead....! Then get yourself some stick-on fish-eyes (not real ones..!) They can be the flat type or domed for a realistic look... All you do to put them on is slightly reheat the powder coated jig/leadhead not too much now...! And press them on....job done... And if during the powder coating process you cover the attachment eyelet then you have to either use a small drill bit to clear through or pointed implement or even a nail... You can bait them up as they are and or use jelly worms or shad type latex lures..twin tails etc Use safety PPE (PERSONAL PROTECTIVE CLOTHING) leather glove(s),safety specs or goggles.....and have a bucket of water nearby..just in case.. Let the jig/leadheads air dry,by hooking them on something suitable....not the dining room table..!
