Thanks guys, it was a great day out on the water, really enjoyed it and a massive thanks to Terry for all your help and patience. I just need to get a proper anchor and all will be well

Thinking of giving it another run this weekend but first I defo need an anchor. The speed that I drifted due to the wind (was only light) was not fun and because of the drifting it lead me to think I also need to sort out a good VHF radio in case of engine problems. Don't think it will be easy to row it back in if blown far out to sea.

it was an off shore wind neil of 16/20 mph and because the tide was running out it gave the false impression of a flat sea but what was really happening is the wind was flattening off the waves .
