Hi Has anyone got any experience with theses wheels? I have a Sunsport 320 with trim tabs at the back and bought some copy wheels off E Bay, and they failed completely. The option i have now is to buy some Honwave wheels, but would like to know if these are solid, do the job well and are good enough to launch a loaded SIB over sand etc?
Thank you for any feedback

I had a Honwave 3.8 with extended floor. Having contacted a number of suppliers and other users, I bit the bullet and bought the Honda cranked wheels at £200 or there abouts. They are THE ONLY wheels designed to take the weight of the boat and an engine bigger than about 5hp. The wheels are about 250mm so soft sand is not good but hard surface including wet sand is fine.
I will say that they are a bit of a bugger to put on when you are on your own and would strongly recommend taking a plastic milk crate or something similar so that you can pop it under one of the tubes while you fit the wheel shaft as you have to align tiny holes for an 'R' clip to go through to make the wheel solid. If there is going to be two or more of you, no problem.
They are simply not as good as the normal launch wheels but you have no option in this matter, just don't buy the cheaper ones at around £130 on ebay as they are just not strong enough. You have bought a good sib and I am pretty certain they are made along side Honwave in the same factory.
Good luck and give me a shout if I can help.

Thanks Phil, thats great info. I've decided to buy the Honwave wheels now, instead of changing the sib. I've been looking on sandsmarine site for them-may i ask where you bought yours from?
Thanks again Dave

I am not sure if it was Pacer Marine or Barnet marine centre but it was via ebay. I will look to see if I can find the invoice.
The Honda wheels are made by Trem of Italy so make sure you get those.
