Why, Better kayaks more readily available Based on the ocean kayaks scupper pro. Fast kayak for touring but not the best for fishing from Steve.

What do you want it for? Fishing, touring sea or fresh water or a bit of both. Steve.

A bit of sea and river touring don't really need for fishing Hi. Hard to compromise. You need length for tracking. Width for stability. If you get one too long you will find it awkward on the smaller rivers. Fishing kayaks are usually a little wider for stability. Sit on tops are safer, if you fall off you climb back on, if you are in a sit inside and turn you need a spray deck and need to learn how to roll back upright. I would look for something like a venture kayaks flex sit inside. Very stable and tracks well or a Galaxy Cruz sit on top. Approx 10 ft long , a little wider and very stable. We always advise people to try before you buy. What suits one person doesn't suit everyone. Steve.
