Made up a new cage today for releasing rubby dubby ahead of the Tope season. Bought some mesh from B & Q for a fiver and played about with a pair of pliers. Had all the other stuff already. Made the size of the cage the same as the cups that i have in the house so i know the volume when taking the guts and stuff out of the blender i'll fill the cup up, put the durex over the cup then put the full tied Durex into the freezer. I'm hoping that the Durex will hold until the anchor hits bottom and the boat pulls tight. If it doesn't i'm no worse off really and will just have to keep the guts and stuff in the blender a little less time. I'm thinking the more liquified the stuff is the better and when the rubber breaks i'll be down tide of it and ready with my bait on bottom as it all washes down to me with nothing left in the cage and the cage lifted off bottom out of any snags or any fish trying to bite at it. Will report on it later if it works. Sorry about the size of the photos. I had resized them to the message board size but?

AND AFTER ALL THAT. A better idea would be just to put a 2 pence peice in the Durex then tie the rubber through the ring connected to breaker. Got there in the end i suppose. ;D ;D
