for any of you guys that are looking for some thing to keep your plugs spinners etc in on your person while you wade the shore line ,look no further than this,it really is the business, and just the job for the yak i would think.best of all I had one on order for weeks with no success until I popped into malcolms tackle shop in beaumaris at the weekend.not only did he have loads in stock, but they are at the ridiculous price of £19,check them out

The lure vest is ideal for the beach/rocks - plugging, spinning or fly fishing but probably useless for the yak. You couldn't use it under your PFD. I wouldn't like to put one over my PFD as it would have to be massive and could cause horrendous problems if you took a dunking and had to make a re entry with plugs and lures in the pockets. Steve

the design of the vest lends itself to sit on your back only spinning around to the front to open and act as a small table when needed.its really difficult to explain in print, have a look in the flesh and see what I mean.as you say it would have to be worn on top of the pfd.you could be right however on the safety aspect and i bow to your experience on this point

I would just like to say that I whole heartedly agree with buddy. I really think that we as kayakers sometimes forget to consider the safety implications of kayak mods, like additional rod holders for instance, and center consul mods, And PFD's with great big pockets filled with all sorts of equipment. I think that we should try and do a re entry with our mods and pocket filled PFD's, before a real emergency happens.
