Met up with Jimbob and paddled the lake today, but it was incredibly flooded, which I have never seen before. You couldn't get into the first car park, and we actually paddled it later on! The second car park was also flooded, and we paddled through there and back out onto the main lake along where the footpath used to be! It was hard to recognize the place. Very interesting to see it like that.

Great pics - looked like a good day (for kayaking!) Would Llanberis lake be Llyn Padarn? Could be a potential spot to combine trout flyfishing with a kayak... Thanks Martin
