Hi Steve /Buddy, Thanks for the info, I need to ask about the dimensions because not only do I need to get the yak to and from the beach, there are other considerations to take into account. Although this is the North Wales Kayak forum, I'm from a little further south, with a stretch of water called the English Channel between us. Here on Guernsey we have several retailers who supply yaks but it's often a case of buying what they've got because they can't stock everything we want. Most seem to lack the experience to give an expert opinion on the kit so I tend to explore the net for forums like this one. The other problem we get is the price of transport, the cost of postage frequently exceeding the value of some small items, so unless I really want something, I improvise if the cost of buying from the UK is too steep. On the plus side, we've got some of the best fishing you can wish for, (not an idle boast, take a look at the British boat and shore records) and great beaches, it's a yakker's paradise (no I don't work for the Tourist Board or a hotel). Anyway, the new yak looks potentially a real winner and I just might have to sell the wife's car to get one. I'll wait and see the opinions of it posted on the forum before I make the final decision, it's a lot of money to shell out without trying it first.
I wishyou well with it.

Looking more and more like a Trident 11 rival, shame about no rod pod though. Dimensions very similar would be interesting to see them side by side along with a P13 as the price bracket will be similar.

Keep up the good work Steve....this community needs a stable, fast and very cheap kayak, well I guess two out of three won't be bad. We all dream of very cheap but .......let's be real Terry - one of the most important design parameters for all our new projects is to offer products that are designed specifically for purpose, and are the best value we can make em' I do realise that "cheap" and "value" are two different things, but we hope that by listening to what you guys want, and by designing a boat that fulfills these needs, but without "over speccing" we can make something that is fit for purpose, at the lowest cost possible! All that said - we think you'll find the retail prices of our new boats extremely competitive ;D
