Hi all Joined up with the lads at the campsite this morning and then down to the reef at tywyn Hambo and johnh started early they had a number of fish by the time we arrived. It didn't take long before I was into the bream and the odd macki the first bream I have caught they don't half pull your string, one of the best days I have had fishing from the yak ,also plenty of doggies. Five of the lads went further out after tope, I know they had a few .It should make interesting reading there report. Vlad stayed with hambo and johnh and a had some nice bream , Vlad and myself left on low tide 2oclock. every one else stayed out fishing. Sorry no photos.
cheers tony

Thank you very much for the great day fishing guys! I had wonderful time thanks to the advise and help I got from Spud, Kevin, hambo, John, Mark, topcat, curly, smallfry and everybody whom names I have not remembered I did not follow spud and the others all the way out to the reef because it looked too much of a paddle for my first day out on the Manta12. I decided to stick with hambo and John close to shore where the bream was biting like mad and spinning for the bass was on the cards. I made the right decision I think as I bagged up on bream (on my first attempt to fish for them) mainly thanks to the advise from hambo and John who let me tie to them and the fresh mackerel for bate curly gave me so generously. The spinning for the bass was not successfully but it was quite late in the day and I had no poppers the bass seemed to prefer. I decided to head home early and not to stay for Sunday because I wonted to get all that fish to Kidderminster before it goes off and I made it! We had a hell of a party with barbecued bream and beer last night with my Bulgarian friends and family. I hope to go for the tope out on the reef next time. There are my photos: I hope hambo to put up the photos he took of me with two cracking bream, the bigger one was just under 4lb. I hope to fish with you again very soon guys!

What a excellent day, weather wise and fishing wise,i had numerous black bream (some of the biggest i have ever seen) and also a few pollock but unfortunately no bass.
Congrats to Tester who is new to fishing who also had a bag full of decent sized bream and also had a bass (one of the very few caught that day)
Great meeting you guys and i am really going to have to get into this toping lark !
By the way Vlad, Whos the miserable looking b@##*r with white baseball cap on in your photos,he could have at least smiled for you. ;D

Not one of me best trips to Tywyn! Stopped on the sea front Friday night - launched to try & get some bait for Sat. Coming back in the dark was ambushed by 6 furious inches of surf to dump me under water for the first time in my yakking history ! Only 4ft of water, but thought I'd lost my best rod for an hour :-Xbefore it turned up on the beach. ;D Saturday, I totally fxxxxked it up really, launching late thinkin I'd fish the flood. To arrive on the reef to watch Kevin land his 2nd, of 3 tope, on the last couple or so hours of ebb. I sat it out through low water to see if it'd pick up. The guys arrived back from their comfort break when the tide picked up, just as the fish started biting again ;D, but no more tope. Bull huss & doggies is what I caught. Didn't get any joy with the bass, though had a few swirls after the lure. Great to meet the guys again! Spuds video looks good, wonder if Curley's got any others ;D ;D. I've got a couple of photo's but think you'll see better! ;D ;D PS don't know how they got on Sunday as I left, Curly might still be on the road? Also glad to hear Vlad was happy ;D
